This hardback, 170-page book is packed with valuable information and over 500 photographs, which make it a must for the collector of souvenirs from the great 1893 World’s Fair. 334 spoons are presented, organized by manufacturer, fully described and often with added notes of relevance. A history of the fair is included along with a short essay about early Chicago, the setting for the fair. There is also a good bit of useful collector information and a price guide. The hard cover is gold embossed and protected by a colorful dust jacket. The paper stock is of the best quality and has a glossy finish. It appears that all the book dealers have now depleted their stocks, and I have the few copies that remain. E-mail for availability.
